DJ AM heads to Knoxville Tennessee to meet with the family of Chris, a 22-yr-old pill addict who has already overdosed three times. DJ AM is on a mission to get him into rehab, but in the process, unearths some troubling news about Chris' family. He stages an intervention to get Chris into treatment, but soon after, his addiction proves to be more powerful than he could have ever imagined and he calls DJ AM with surprising news.
DJ AM heads to San Antonio, Texas to meet with Ricky, a 20 year old who uses heroin, cocaine, Xanax, weed and basically whatever he can get his hands on. Rick's been using for so long that his family is ready to give up on him. DJ AM meets with them to try to get them to come together and give Ricky one last chance to get his life back. But Ricky finds out the hard way that the road to recovery isn't an easy one.
Recovering addict DJ AM travels to Texas to meet the family of Breezy, a 23-yr-old alcoholic who turns violent with the people closest to her. With one DUI, and multiple assault charges, the worst may be yet to come. DJ AM leads a surprise intervention on Breezy, and offers her a chance to turn her life around.
Synopsis DJ AM travels to Connecticut to meet with the family of Gary, a 20-yr-old heroin addict whose life is completely consumed with getting high. Gary has lost several family members to drugs and his mother is desperate to get him help before it's too late. DJ AM leads an intervention to try and save Gary's life.
DJ AM heads to Hartford, CT to meet 20-yr-old Gina who is severely addicted to heroin and smokes 'angel dust' regularly. Gina's lucky to still have her family's love -- but they may be loving her to death.
DJ AM travels to his hometown of Philadelphia to meet the family of Amy, a 23-yr-old heroin addict who has been stealing from her loved ones to pay for her drugs. Amy's family has already lost one member to heroin addiction and they all agree that Amy is on the same exact path. DJ AM leads a surprise intervention on Amy, but she won't go to rehab without a fight.
